AT DELTA!
Currently I am at Delta Lake Bible Conference Center for the next 8 weeks. Right now I am a Haven camp counselor. I have three mentally handicapped adults under my care. As counselors we share responsibilities, campers are everyone campers, problems are everyone’s, and team work with tons of prayer is the key. The fun we are already having is unmatched by anything else. Haven campers playing tee-ball, craft time, the ever popular snack shop and shopping time, services, boat rides, swimming, devotions, Haven dance party, verse memorization, lots of bathroom time, and today we had a picnic and a hayride. Talk about a packed week of fun. Seeing the campers grow in Christ, and love on us more than we even love on them is worth a thousand summers of working anywhere else. I can’t wait to see what God is going to do this summer. Exciting things are on the docket I just know it. Please keep me and my fellow counselors and campers in your prayers. Haven camp teaches you more in a short period then you think you could possibly learn. Please pray for extended patience with our campers, a love to pour out of us and the ability to explain Gods grace.
