Teach me O Father
to pray, to beg before your throne.

May I never cease praying more than I am doing!

Psalm 4:3

“But know that the LORD has set apart the
godly man for Himself;

The LORD hears when I
call to Him
.

I realized this weekend,

I lost my first love. I lost talking to Him. I lost the desperate need
in my prayers. They had become less then cries to the Holy of Holy.
From the very beginning of creation, God has wanted communication. The
first name for my people, were not “Jews, or “the Hebrews not even “the
children of Israel.
Their original name was ”

those who call on the name of the LORD“.

My emphasis should not be on teaching, encouraging, preaching, sacrificing,
giving, and even loving others. My emphasis needs to be a real calling
out, a passion for calling out to my God in need. It is not some
mechanical exercise but an encounter. The literal word used in the Old
Testament for calling out to God means

to cry out, to implore aid.

In the beginning of January and even hints earlier Christ had called me to
pray for revival of my generation.

This revival will start from right
here in mid-Ohio and spread across the states and even will receive
international attention, it shall be that intense
. Christ will be glorified. This morning while I
was doing devotions he reminded me once again of something he told me in one of
those early conversations.

Did you know that just before the Revolutionary War the first Great Awakening
happened… spiritual revival! It has been said that with out that
revival the Revolution would have never been possible. God is calling for
a revolution in the hearts and minds of our generation. My generation, my
prayer, will not be another generation of falling back farther from His
Kingdom, but rather would be a revival generation. A theme Christ brought
up last summer was revolution, but History now speaks more of what Christ
wants. Starting in my own heart and spreading we NEED Revival Fire!
The tactic for which it comes is hardcore relentless prayer! Christ told me all
those months ago that I was to inspire others to pray

with

me for
this revival in the hearts of our teenagers. He affirmed it would take
many times on

our

knees… The Holy Spirit has already prodded my
beginning to beseech, beg, and cry to the point that the room becomes like a
labor room.

Before I leave for Africa, I know Christ has me on my knees for this generation
right here in America.I
ask that you join me. Over, over and
over again it is shown in scripture his promises to

those who call on him!

Romans 10:12-17

“Jew and Gentile are the same in
this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on
him. For “Everyone

who calls on the name of the Lord
will be saved.

But how can they call on
him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if
they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone
tells them? And how will anyone go and
tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “

How beautiful
are the feet of messengers who bring good news!

But not everyone welcomes
the Good News, for Isaiah the prophet said, “Lord,
who has believed our message? So faith comes from hearing, that is,
hearing the Good News about Christ.

“Sending leads to

preaching

Preaching leads to

hearing

Hearing leads to

believing

Believing leads

to calling on the
name of the Lord.” (Fresh wind, Fresh Fire by Jim Cymbala)

Believing is not
the climax, calling on the name of the Lord is.

God has called me
to Africa, but first God has called me to pray
for all his people. The concentration
right now, is the teens of this area.

Ephesians 6 gives us our battle plan, and our armor. Then end of the normal “armor of God taught
in Sunday school classes is forgotten.

Ephesians 6:18

“

Pray in the
Spirit at all times and on every occasion
. Stay alert and be persistent in
your prayers for all believers everywhere.

So, I am praying
for my peers here, my campers and counselors for this summer, my team for next
year, all those who I will be able to minister to next year, for my supports
and for all believers everywhere.

Praise Jesus I am
92 dollars short of $5,000 in my account for Africa. God is inspiring hearts. He is at work and will work. The hearts will be turned, when we call out.

Drive me to pray o
Christ!

1 Timothy 2:1

“I urge you,

first of all,
to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and
give thanks for them.

Mathew 7:7,
Jeremiah 29:13, James 4:2, 1 Timothy 2:8, Mark 11:15-18, Galatians 4:19, Psalm
80:18, Jeremiah 33:3, Hebrews 4:16

“The rest which flows from unceasing prayer needs to sought at all costs even when the flesh is itchy, the world is alluring and the demons nosy”

PRAY!
